There are several steps to employment: submission of application/resume, personal interview, reference checks and background investigation. Once you're offered a conditional offer of employment you'll be subjected to a drug test. After being hired you will be required to attend orientation training, site training and ongoing in-service training. Newly hired employees will be given Suburban Security Services, LLC Standard Operating Guidelines (SOG) and are expected to read, understand and acknowledge the rules and regulations of our organization.
Preference will be given to college graduates, honorably discharged service members and previous sworn law enforcement experience. Entry level applicants without prior law enforcement or security experience are highly encouraged to participate Suburban's Training course where you can learn the basics of security patrol and conducting investigations.
Pursuant to Massachusetts General Law chapter 147 section 28, employees of Suburban Security Services, LLC can not have been convicted of a felony or of any offense involving moral turpitude. Applicants will be required to sign statements under to the pains and penalties of perjury to this fact. Applicants will be subjected to a strict background investigation as well as drug testing. Suburban maintains a zero tolerance for drugs and/or alcohol abuse by employees. Drugs are defined as any substance, either legal or illegal, that alters the user's mind, body or consciousness. This includes controlled substances or any drug regulated by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts or the federal government.

It is the duty of the roving patrol officer to visit various client sites and conduct proper checks. The officer must be reliable, self motivated and efficient. The officer is expected to work independently and perform a multitude of tasks without the need for constant supervision. Qualified applicants will have an exceptional driving record as they will be performing their duties using a marked company owned vehicle.

Must be self-reliant, good time management, documentation and observation skills. MUST have exceptional driving record, no felony convictions or convictions of moral turpitude. Conducts all types of Investigations raging from surveillance to witness locates and witness interviews. Suburban gives preference to experienced investigators, whether it be public or private service, however recent college graduates and Honorably Discharged Veterans will be seriously considered. Commission based sales position to develop and maintain relationships with clients and potential clients. Must be able to learn and sell our service with honesty and integrity. Must have prior sales experience and be self motivated. Must have good time management and documentation skills. No felony convictions or convictions of moral turpitude.
